What kind of
student does this work for?
The Goldhar Learning System
is ideal for all types of students. From the stressed out over
achievers, to the less motivated or weaker students, every student
benefits from learning how to accomplish more in less time.
Many students think that
the only way to succeed is with long hours and stress. Our goal is
to show these students that it simply isn’t so. Most students
discover that they can get most of their homework done and study for
tests in a fraction of the time.

What grade level is
the training for?
The Goldhar Learning
System is ideal for middle school, high school and college students.
At the same time, I've conducted training for corporations and
leading researchers in medicine. It's never too late to learn.
The earlier a student
masters note taking the easier time they will have in school. At the
same time, because the system is so effective and easy to use, even
students that have developed bad note taking habits, switch to the
system and see dramatic results.

How long does it take
to see results?
Approximately 90 minutes.
Immediately after the
Webinar your child student will be able to implement my method.
That's because the training is extremely practical and I show
students numerous examples so they learn during the webinar how to
apply the method.

What if my child likes to
write down everything the teacher says?
I have trained thousands
of "transcribers", students that write down every word that comes
out of the teachers mouth. Unfortunately because they have never
been trained, they write transcripts of each class, not realizing
how much needless stress and time they are spending trying to
"memorize" their notes.
During the training, I
will show your child how much easier, faster and more confident
they'll become when they learn my method. They'll see my notes are
less to write, less to review, and a thousand times easier to
remember.

How can my child take better notes if he doesn’t know what to listen
for in class?
Many students walk into
class and don’t know what to listen for. Some just try to keep up
with the teacher and write down everything they hear. Others hope to
absorb as much as possible and rely on their long term memory.
The Goldhar Learning
System gives every student a very clear focus and goal. Our note
taking system trains students to listen for key material and
structure so they can organize their notes as they learn. We
identify for the key “Listening Targets” so they know how to spot
the most important points and follow the teacher’s breakdown of her
lesson.

What if my child is
a poor test taker?
We’ve trained thousands of
students that complain that they know the material the night before
the test, and then during the test they go blank. That’s very
frustrating.
One reason why that
happens is that test taking is stressful. It’s hard to think under
pressure.
But a more fundamental
reason why many students forget the answers is that most students
don’t know who to organize the material in their minds. Their just
try to cram it in (often last minute) and hope they can retrieve it
during the exam.
In the Goldhar Learning
System, your child will learn how her brain literally organizes and
files information. Instead of racing through a head full of clutter,
your child will see that it’s possible to recall everything they’ve
learned, because she has an organized mind.
Another critical skill
your child will learn is how to effectively review for tests.
Instead of going over everything again and again, we train your
child how to focus on the areas she needs to, without spending
needless time and energy on the material she knows well.

Will
the Goldhar Learning System improve their memory?
Absolutely! There are
three main reasons why students have a hard time remembering.
Reason #1: The
material isn’t organized well. Many students study from pages packed
with notes from side to side. Your child will learn how to write
clear, concise notes that are easy to review and remember.
Reason #2: The
material doesn’t lend itself to organization. Remembering dates and
events, formulas, spelling and translation is more challenging
because the brain doesn’t see any real connection between the two.
We’ll train your child to come up with hints, triggers and systems
that make it easy, fun and effective to remember the tougher stuff
and details.
Reason #3: Some
students don’t think they have good memories, therefore they give up
early. In our live seminars we’ve trained thousands of skeptical
students to remember all the Presidents in less than 8 minutes,
proving they can all improve their memory when they use memory
skills.

Will your
system help with reading comprehension?
One of the major reasons
why students see their test scores improve is because they now have
a system for tackling textbooks. We show your child how to breakdown
what they are reading and simplify paragraphs that are dense and
tricky.
Many students don’t
realize that many books our written in a way that makes it
unnecessarily challenging and stressful for them to read. We will
train your child how to simplify what they are reading and avoid the
most common sources of confusion that mess students up.

Do
teachers need to know the system for it to work?
Absolutely not!
While it’s always ideal to have clear, thought out and organized
teachers, this system was developed to give your child independent
learning skills. We want your child to have the confidence to know
that they have the ability to learn anything well regardless of
who’s teaching the subject.

Will this program help a student who has a learning disability?
The Goldhar Learning
System improves a student’s ability to process what he is learning.
The note taking system demonstrates that a lot of material is
simpler to understand and remember when it is organized well.
Resource room teachers are
using the Goldhar Learning System successfully and I've been a
featured speaker Educational Conferences and Learning Disability
Workshops.
